Can Vaccines Really Cause Illness?
August 17th 2009 19:15
This question is one that has taken the forefront in many parenting circles. Will the vaccinations required by schools in the United States cause my child to be ill? Better yet, will that vaccination cause my child to contract autism?
There are two sides to the debate, but neither side has much scientific proof to go on. What we do know is that there are more children saved from illness that could cause death because of vaccinations than children contracting any illness. Furthermore, with the introduction of the HPV vaccination, we are on a path to prevent certain forms of cancer. CANCER! There was once a time when no onw believed a cancer prevention would ever hit the market and here one is being used on a daily basis.
The next time a parent thinks about the vaccinations they are about to give their child, Google Images may help to bring the potential side effects into perspective. The risk of contracting the illness the vaccination is guarding the child from is nothing compared to the effect of the disease the vaccination guards against.
