Baby Scheduling Reduces Stress at Home

Many parents never think about the power of the schedule when it comes to bringing baby home. They are caught up in the safety precautions and the birth of a new baby. The schedule, however, can help both mom and dad to enjoy the time with baby a bit more. A pediatrician once told me that every child in a home should be on a schedule. Why? Because children then know what to expect and that can mean the difference between children listening to their parents later in life and not listening to their parents.
Practice Makes Perfect
I have been a mom for 12 years and trust me, schedules are not easy to maintain. But, when a child knows when things happen every day - a wonderful thing soon happens. The children are hungry at dinner time. The children are tired at bed time and the children spend less time asking mom and dad for this and that when it is NOT time for those things.
The schedule is the best practice I have ever adopted for my children.
